The Philadelphia Eagles wasted no time checking off their priority need on Day 1 of the 2024 NFL Draft by selecting Toledo cornerback Quinyon Mitchell at No. 22 overall.
Now, it's time for the Eagles to turn their attention to Day 2.
The Eagles are on the clock twice in the second round which kicks off at 7 p.m. ET on Friday.
- No. 50 overall (from New Orleans)
- No. 53 overall
They have zero picks in Round 3.
Below we'll take a look at the Eagles' biggest needs heading into then the next round.
1. Linebacker

The Eagles bolstered their linebacker room by signing Devin White, Oren Burks, and Zack Baun in NFL free agency, but those are temporary guys on one-year deals.
That means the Eagles could turn to the next round to find someone to match up with Nakobe Dean down the road. There isn't much off-ball linebacker talent in the year's draft so, the sooner the Eagles pick one, the better.
Potential options: Clemson LB Jeremiah Trotter Jr., Texas A&M LB Edggerin Cooper
2. Offensive Tackle

The Eagles love to plan for the future so why not think about Lane Johnson's future successor at right tackle? Johnson will be 34 in May, which means he's closer to throwing in the towel.
The Eagles had beloved center Jason Kelce scout his future replacement out two years in advance, so they may or may not have Johnson do the dame.
Potential options: Notre Dame OT Blake Fisher, Washingon OT Roger Rosengarten
3. Wide Receiver

The Eagles have their wide receiver tandem locked in for years to come but they still need to figure out that No. 3 spot.
They added veteran wideouts Parris Campbell and DeVante Parker in free agency, but who knows how that will play out for them. Day 2 would be the perfect time for the Eagles to fill that third receiver void with one of many quality options left to pick from.
Potential options: Georgia WR Ladd McConkey, USC WR Brenden Rice
