The Tennessee Titans overtook NFL free agency on Wednesday afternoon. Out of nowhere, they emerged to sign wide receiver Calvin Ridley to a four-year deal ahead of the Jacksonville Jaguars and New England Patriots.

Ridley made sure to defend the contract on Twitter when Marcus Mosher called it out. Mosher thinks it is too expensive for a receiver of Ridley's caliber.

For the Titans, they are familiar with wideouts who are active on social media.

A.J. Brown became known for his witty responses and posts on Twitter, and Ridley seems to be cut from that same cloth. Titans fans know that well.

Not to mention, DeAndre Hopkins has made plenty of strong statements on social media since joining Tennessee. His posts are usually more passionate than anything, though. He's a big believer in his abilities and his teammates.

Regardless, none of the wideouts are afraid to speak their mind when they feel the need to in front of fans.

Ridley's agent, David Mulugheta, chimed in on the massive deal as well.

Ridley joins Brown and Hopkins as noteworthy tweeters to land in Nashville. Hopefully for the Titans, he can prove the doubters on social media wrong.
