The Kansas City Chiefs have a new wide receiver in town and we already know what jersey number he'll be wearing during the 2024 NFL season.

With the Arizona Cardinals over the past two seasons, Brown has worn the No. 2 jersey. That number isn't the one that suits him, though. He wore No. 15 with the Baltimore Ravens for two seasons before switching to No. 5 in 2021. He also wore the No. 5 jersey with the Oklahoma Sooners in college. During an impromptu Twitch stream shortly after his deal with Kansas City was reported, Brown revealed he'll be wearing No. 5 again with the Chiefs.

"I'm finna get back in that five chat," Brown said on his Twitch channel while holding up an Oklahoma jersey.

But what will Hollywood look like in a No. 5 Chiefs jersey? He immediately had a jersey swap edit ready to go.

The Chiefs now have two projected starting receivers who wear single-digit jersey numbers in Rashee Rice (4) and Marquise Brown (5).

Historically speaking, the Chiefs haven't had many players who've worn the No. 5 uniform. It was most recently worn by punter Tommy Townsend, who departed to join the Miami Dolphins in free agency. Before that, it was most notably worn by punter Louie Aguiar and kicker Cairo Santos. The number has never been worn by a skill player in Kansas City, which isn't entirely surprising given the league only recently approved single-digit jersey numbers for non-QB and specialists.
