Rattler, when describing who he models his game after, named Stafford as a guy he hopes to emulate in the NFL.
"He can throw from all different angles, has a great arm, and can anticipate well," Rattler said. "That's what I try to take from him."
Rattler is an intriguing quarterback option. His college career started shaky at Oklahoma.
He transferred to South Carolina, where he started and found his game again.
Rattler threw for 3,186 yards and 19 touchdowns. He also impressed at the Senior Bowl, adding value to his draft stock.
He is projected to be drafted in the fourth round. With the Rams uncertain about who will be quarterbacking the team in future seasons, Rattler looks like a viable option to sit and learn from Stafford before taking over Sean McVay's offense.
