The 2024 NFL Scouting Combine has come and gone, and we are one step closer to the 2024 NFL Draft.
With this big milestone in the books, I published my largest mock draft of the cycle to date, a three-round 32-team mock draft with trades.
And below is the haul the Minnesota Vikings came away with.
Pick 11: Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama
"The most impressive player when it came to their podium interviews last week to me was Alabama CB Terrion Arnold. He commanded the room, and I was told many teams had a similar experience during their private interviews with the talented CB. His college tape already had him considered to be the top CB in the draft, and I think his impressive interviews last week might have locked it up."
I'm sure the Vikings would have loved for one of the top four QBs to be on the board here, but with that not working out, they go best player available in my mock with Alabama CB Terrion Arnold. Arnold can potentially be a lockdown number-one CB at the NFL level. While they attempt to rebuild or retool this offseason beginning to develop a CB of Arnold's caliber could become a foundational piece of the franchise's future.
Pick 42: Chris Braswell, Edge, Alabama
The Vikings could be losing their top edge rusher Danielle Hunter this offseason. And if they don't decide to draft one in round one, I think they will look at high-upside options on day two. Alabama's Chris Braswell is a fantastic athlete and has continued to improve during his college career. He may not have a huge rookie season, but I think a year of learning and improving could be big for his overall development.
