There are 134 FBS college football programs, which means there are currently 134 FBS head coaches.
And only eight of those current head coaches have a win against Nick Saban, the legendary former LSU/Alabama head coach.
Heupel is on the list thanks to Tennessee's epic win against Alabama in 2022.

Heupel has quickly become one of the top coaches in the sport. He obviously still has some work to do to catch up to names like Kirby Smart and even Brian Kelly (who has a couple of College Football Playoff appearances), but Heupel is very much in the conversation when it comes to the top college football coaches.
