The Philadelphia Eagles are making Brandon Graham's farewell tour dreams come true.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Eagles are "re-signing Brandon Graham to a one-year extension, ensuring that the 35-year-old defensive end returns to Philadelphia for a 15th season."
With this deal, Graham makes franchise history as the only Eagles player to play 15 seasons for the team.
Graham told reporters he wanted to return for one last ride following the Eagles' devastating playoff loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers back in January.
"I want to," Graham said. "Whatever it be. It'll be my farewell tour next year. You know, I'm saying if the Eagles want me to do it one more time, I would love to be here because I know we have something special."
Graham was active for all 17 games in 2023, though he was limited to playing just 34% of the team's defensive snaps. He logged 16 combined tackles, three sacks and six QB hits with the little action he saw.
Besides having some juice left in the tank, Graham also brings an infectious personality and quality leadership to the locker room, which is needed with such a relatively young defensive roster and will be mandatory when the Eagles make more changes this offseason.
