The latest major move by the New Orleans Saints has a legitimate red flag after a recent report.

Chase Young is undergoing a neck procedure that is expected to sideline him into training camp.

Young sustained the injury during the preseason last year. He played through it during his time on both the Washington Commanders and San Francisco 49ers.

All of the teams that were in on Young during free agency were made aware of his injury situation. The Saints were comfortable with it.

According to Nick Underhill, the Saints have protections in Young's contract due to the injury. They made sure to cover themselves in the case that it forces him to miss time in 2024.

Hopefully, that will never matter, and he can produce at full strength for the Saints.
