The Las Vegas Raiders just cut the roster down to 54 players. Obviously, it's supposed to be 53, but with running back Josh Jacobs back on a roster exception, they currently have 54.

It wasn't easy cutting from 90 guys. Every team has to make more than just a tough decision. They are telling some guys they no longer have a job or income.

The Raiders had to let go of Phillip Dorsett, as they have too many guys who do the same thing as him, but better, at the same size. Now, they have six receivers; only Kristian Wilkerson is that final guy.

On Tuesday, though, Dorsett signed a contract with one of the Raiders' biggest rivals. He signed with the Denver Broncos, who needed wide receiver depth badly.

Now, the Raiders will see Dorsett in Week 1. I'm sure it will be somewhat personal for him, too.
