New Orleans Saints quarterback made up for some early-game struggles late in Sunday's Week 1 win versus the Tennessee Titans.

To close the game, Carr connected with Rashid Shaheed on a 41-yard completion to put the victory in the bag. The play forced the Titans to spent their final timeouts – all but putting the game out of reach for Mike Vrabel's team.

After the victory, Carr shared the comical conversation that he had with Shaheed before that major play.

Carr just told the speedster that he should run as fast as he can, and Carr would get it to him. He did exactly that.

It is another example of the trust that Carr has in his receivers. they trust him as their new quarterback as well. He played a great second half with improved offensive line play in front of him.

Shaheed, Chris Olave, and Michael Thomas all ended the victory with impressive stat lines. Juwan Johnson made a couple of important plays, too.

Expect plenty more deep shots from Carr to Shaheed this season.
