Philadelphia Eagles starting linebacker, Nakobe Dean, left Week 1's victory over the New England Patriots in the third quarter with a foot injury.

Dean did not return and was later seen wearing a boot in the locker room, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff Dean.

Christian Elliss took over as the MIKE in Dean's place.

Sunday marked Dean's first start of his NFL career and the former 2022 third-round pick out of Georgia finished the day with seven tackles (four solo) before exiting early.

Being able to walk in a boot is a good sign, but we'll know more when coaches meet with the media on Monday.
