The Indianapolis Colts offensive line has been the talk of Colts fans lately, and not in a positive light.
With the Colts electing to name rookie QB Anthony Richardson as the starter, protecting him has become the priority for most fans.
And the lack of true-depth pieces, along with the question mark surrounding the teams starting right guard position, is bringing fear to fans' minds.
This has led fans to looking for options to improve the roster, and the popular name brought up has been Dalton Risner.

Dalton Risner
While Risner is a free agent, he has plenty of starting experience in the NFL. The Denver Broncos drafted him with the 41st pick in the 2nd round of the 2019 NFL Draft. And he was given the starting LG job with the team from day 1. And that remained the case for all four seasons with the team before becoming a free agent this offseason.
Many Colts fans have begun tweeting at Risner, requesting for him to come on down to Indianapolis and join the Colts. And he's certainly taken notice as he has liked multiple of the tweets, including some below.
Risner would be instant competition for current starting RG Will Fries, and he'd likely be the favorite to win the job. And with Risner only being 28 years old, he wouldn't have to be viewed as a bandaid for the position. He could certainly prove himself to be the long-term answer.
Finding stability on the offensive line should be a high priority for any team developing a young QB like the Colts with Anthony Richardson. And it's not normal to be able to find a proven starter on the offensive line in mid-August, let alone one of Risner's pedigree.
