The Cleveland Browns have seen enough of cornerback Chris Westry.
On Wednesday, it was announced that he had been waived from the team.
Westry broke into the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He originally signed with the Dallas Cowboys.
He was signed by the Browns in March and he is technically in the second year of his career.
Westry saw most of his career action in 2021 with the Baltimore Ravens, where he appeared in six games and recorded three passes defended.
While with the Ravens, he also had stints on the practice squad. He has battled injuries throughout his career, and it isn't entirely ruled out that he may join the Browns' practice squad and continue to battle for a depth role on the Browns moving forward.
Myles Garrett predicted to be a cut above the rest in a critical statistic
The Cleveland Browns have one of the most imposing defensive players on their front line. His name is Myles Garrett.
