New Orleans Saints star edge rusher Cameron Jordan is still getting it done as a veteran. At 34, many would expect the defensive end to be focused on securing a final contract extension or preparing to hang it up. That's not the case for Jordan.
Instead, he's leaving the money talks to his agent, and he is zeroing in on a bounce back year for the Saints as an entire team.

Jordan has recently discussed that he would be open to an extension from the Saints – as he does want to finish his career in New Orleans. That being said, it is not his main goal right now. He wants to win another Super Bowl.
It's clear that Jordan doesn't want to bog down any steam for the team by discussing a contract. He's team-oriented, and he's excited about the group that the Saints have this season.
His deal will get done when it gets done, and Jordan has faith that the Saints front office will offer him something that he deserves in due time. No specific numbers have been released when it comes to a potential deal in the future. Only time will tell, but Jordan is just ready to get back on the field for the black and gold.
