The New York Giants made a splash in the offseason when they traded for tight end Darren Waller. Not to mention, they locked down quarterback Daniel Jones on a long-term extension, too. The good news? That duo is already messing very well, according to training camp reports.

On day two of practice, Jones’ first three passes of team drills were all throws to his new tight end. All three were complete. His next two were incomplete. Both of those came with Waller off the field. Coincidence? Doubtful.

If Waller stays healthy, the Giants have a plethora of talented mouths to feed in their offense. That's good news after the improved offensive line play from their offense last year as well. They should have increased confidence all over the unit.

Waller's emergence as a consistent force at TE could help Jones take another step forward. He did that last year in his first season under HC Brian Daboll. Now, they have more talent around him to build on going forward.
