At the start of this week, the New Orleans Saints signed three different veterans. Tight end Jimmy Graham, along with offensive linemen Trai Turner and Max Garcia, joined the roster. Unfortunately, disaster has struck for one of them already. Turner left the Saints' Friday training camp practice with a knee injury.

He was carted to the locker room, according to Brooke Kirchhofer. According to Dennis Allen, the specific injury and timetable for return is not known quite yet. For Turner, it's a very tough break.

The veteran offensive lineman is a five-time Pro Bowl OL, but the past few seasons have seen a decline in his play and health. He was looking for a fresh start as a key depth piece along the Saints offensive line this year. It was a hometown return for him as well.

If his injury is serious, New Orleans may look to dip back into the veteran free agency pool for another interior offensive lineman. The depth is important. We'll see what Turner's updates are in the coming days.
