After bringing him in for a workout on Friday, the Buffalo Bills are signing wide receiver Andy Isabella, per KPRC2's Aaron Wilson.

Isabella, drafted in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals, also spent a short while with the Baltimore Ravens last year.

It's fair to say that Isabella's career hasn't gone as planned. His career-high numbers came in 2020 when he logged 21 catches for 224 yards and two touchdowns. In the last couple of seasons, he recorded three receptions and 34 yards having played in 13 games over that span.

The undersized 5-foot-9 receiver weighing 188 pounds does bring speed to the table. His 40-yard dash out of college was clocked in at an impressive 4.31 seconds. That was enough to rank in the 96th percentile among NFL wide receivers, per MockDraftable.

What exactly Bills offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey has in store for Isabella remains to be seen. He doesn't have a ton of special teams experience in the league so one would assume it's on offense that we'll see most of his work.

Surely, what Dorsey could capitalize on is that speed to stretch opposing defenses vertically and get better looks to the team's top receivers, particularly Stefon Diggs.

While the Bills have both Diggs and Gabe Davis leading the way at the position, the room is significantly thin. There's no questioning Isabella can fight his way to a significant role in training camp.
