Three of four of the Cleveland Browns are against AFC North opponents. Their week 4 matchup against one may have just gotten easier.

Baltimore Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey is going to miss at least a month with an injury.

The Pro Bowl corner is having surgery today on a foot injury that will be sure to keep him out the first few games. It looks like whether the Browns will see him or not is up in the air.

The two teams will play on Oct. 1, which is about six weeks from now. Before the Ravens game, the Browns will have already played the Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers in the first two weeks. There is a game with the Tennessee Titans sandwiched in between the tough divisional slate to start.

In six seasons with Baltimore, Humphrey has been one of the NFL’s better defensive backs. The former Alabama standout has intercepted 12 passes as a pro.

For his career, two of the 12 intercepted passes have come against the Browns.

If the Ravens are down Humphrey in week 4, it will vastly benefit the Browns and their passing game. Humphrey figures to match up with WR Amari Cooper.

It’ll be worth keeping an eye on how quickly the Ravens’ top cornerback can return.
