Devasting news as Colts WR and top special teamer Ashton Dulin has torn his ACL, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston.

I was told Dulin was a lock to make the team's roster due to his elite special teams ability as well as being the clear leader for the WR 5 job on the Colts.

Dulin's injury certainly makes the Colts job of cutting down their roster more difficult at WR, but due to his special teams role, it affects more than the WR room. It will likely make the team consider special teams even more than usual when considering the final roster spots.

Dulin wasn't just your average special teams contributor, he was the team's top gunner, which is a starting role. The team must figure out who slides into that role in his absence. And whether or not that player is currently on the roster or if they will need to look elsewhere via trade, free agency, or using the upcoming waiver wire.
