Daniel Jones got an extension from the New York Giants this offseason. He played much better last year – after a slow start to his career. It was clear that the addition of head coach Brian Daboll made a massive difference to his development. Jones blossomed a bit in the new system, and that is notable going forward.

Apparently, Madden didn't get that memo, though. Jones is not ranked as a top-20 quarterback in their new video game. He is just a 75 overall in this year's edition.

Most notably, he is ranked behind quarterbacks like Deshaun Watson, Jimmy Garoppolo, Russell Wilson, and Ryan Tannehill. Justin Fields is just ahead of Jones, too. It's a bit mind-boggling. Jones clearly had a better overall season than any of these aforementioned names – even if it wasn't flashy at times for the Giants starter.

Madden made a noticeable mistake here. Jones should be in the 79-81 range when it comes to overall. He should be sitting right around the top 15 based on his performance and improvement last season.
