Football has finally returned with the Hall of Fame game set to kick off the 2023 NFL preseason on Thursday, Aug. 3.
The Cleveland Browns and New York Jets will be in Canton, Ohio at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium to ring in the brand-new NFL year. The two teams won't look entirely complete, though.
The majority of starters will rest during these games as teams hope to avoid injuries to their star players. Players on the roster bubble, however, will get a big opportunity to show out in front of a national audience.
The Browns have already announced that 37 players will not be available to play in the Hall of Fame game on Thursday night.

There are some interesting names on this list, including QB Josh Dobbs and RB Jerome Ford. It suggests that both players have already landed the No. 2 job at their respective positions.
Demetric Felton, John Kelly, Hassan Hall and Nate McCrary will handle RB duties for the evening.
Two players will seemingly battle it out for the No. 3 QB job.
