The Buffalo Bills first-round pick Dalton Kincaid is an absolute animal.
All aboard the hype train, things are getting crazy at One Bills Drive. Another practice means another insane catch from the newly acquired tight end who has high hopes from the fanbase and organization coming into next season.
Brandon Beane finally got his wish, allowing him to run his 12 personnel (or 11.5) sets that he's spent the past few years trying to bring in players to make it happen. With Ken Dorsey making adjustments and looking at new rotations and personnel sets, it was a perfect time for the team to bring in Kincaid.
Stop me if you heard this before, Kincaid once again had an insane catch at camp that has quickly gone viral. With Buffalo chock full of talent, sometimes it can get lost with just how good Kincaid has been at camp.
No, we aren't going to jump the shark and call him the second coming of Travis Kelce like some media pundits are offering. Rather, we are just excited it looks like Allen has found yet another reliable target. While this is only camp and Kincaid has a long way to go, it furthers the sentiment that the sky is the limit for the talented young tight end.
If these two are able to replicate even a fraction of what they've been able to do at camp, Allen and the offense are going to wreak havoc on opposing defenses. Kincaid has a real shot at making Bills history in his first season with the team.
How Dalton Kincaid can break Buffalo Bills history as a rookie
As we reported previously, Kincaid has a real chance to break the Bills' single-season receiving record from a rookie tight end.
The previous record is held by Tommy Hunter in 1983 in which he ended his rookie campaign with 402 yards. With the extra game and the pass-first offense Buffalo deploys, Kincaid has a real chance to break the record.
On average, tight ends selected in the first round over the past decade would put Kincaid right in line to break that record. Specifically, as Heavy.com reported, the average has been 37.7 catches for 483.4 yards and 2.9 touchdowns.
Kincaid is hauling in one-handed catches better than most receivers, burning defenders in the middle of the field, and living up to the outrageous hype the fanbase had for him on draft night.
We're not too far removed from the regular season beginning. Let's see if Kincaid can keep the momentum and dominate when it matters most.
Dalton Kincaid has a special message for the Bills Mafia
They are going to love him in Buffalo.
