After a long wait, we get to see the Vikes back on the playing field. It's a long way until the regular season but this is the Vikings' first chance of showing what they've been working on in training camp.

Will the Vikings play the starters?
Probably not, except for the young guys. The Vikings have a ton of projected starters who are either rookies or second-year players, and these guys need all the snaps they can get.
I don't expect to see much, if any, of the veteran starters on Thursday.
Who gets first-team reps at kicker?
Special teams coordinator Matt Daniels said the veteran Greg Joseph will get the first opportunity on Thursday. The competition has been neck-and-neck this offseason, so expect the rookie Jack Podlesny to see plenty of action this preseason.
3 Players to watch
- WR Jordan Addison: The rookie should get plenty of work in Seattle with Jefferson likely sitting. Addison has had some bad press off the field this summer, but has looked impressive on the field. It will be interesting to see how Addison looks against NFL competition.
- QB Jaren Hall: Can Hall do enough this preseason to earn the backup job? While Nick Mullens will likely be QB1 on Thursday, Hall will get every opportunity to prove himself this preseason. It will be interesting to see how Hall handles the offense in a tough road environment.
- LB Ivan Pace Jr.: Everyone has been singing the praises of Pace this summer. The UDFA has been a camp standout and has even seen some first-team reps. It will be interesting to see how Pace does in game action. Can the rookie challenge for a starting role?

Why Ivan Pace Jr. will make the final roster for the Minnesota Vikings
The UDFA could already be a lock to make the final roster in 2023.
