The Detroit Lions have had one of the busiest offseasons in the NFL. With major free agency additions in the rear view mirror and the NFL Draft on the horizon, real football will be here before we know it.
On Friday, the Detroit Lions released its tentative offseason workout dates.
The first day of the offseason workout program is April 17. Organized team activities (OTAs) run May 22-23, May 25, May 30-31, June 2, June 5-6, June 8-9, and mandatory minicamp is June 12-14.
During the offseason workout program, the NFL Draft is set to take place from April 27-29.
OTAs and minicamp are non-padded practices. Some OTAs and all of minicamp will be open to the media. While OTAs and the offseason workout program are voluntary, minicamp is mandatory.
The Lions have eight picks in the 2023 NFL Draft, which means there will be plenty of new faces fans will become acquainted with once the team is back on the gridiron.
