The Philadelphia Eagles are in an enviable position. Fresh off of a Super Bowl appearance, the team is fortunate to draft tenth overall thanks to a 2022 trade with the New Orleans Saints.

On paper, the Eagles roster does not have many holes. However, the team has several starters on both sides of the ball headed for free agency.

Currently, the Eagles have just north of $1 million in available cap space, so some of these players will not be back in 2023. Pending free agents include Fletcher Cox, Brandon Graham, and James Bradberry, just to name a few.

The Eagles will have the opportunity to add a premium talent to help offset free agency losses. One particular trend has emerged that could prove beneficial to the team.

Brenden Deeg of theScore stated that it now seems like four QBs will go in the top ten after impressive combine performances by the signal-callers.

With the Eagles clearly not in the market for a QB, this means the team may be able to select an elite position player that slips to the tenth pick.

Of the teams picking in the top ten, up to seven of them could be looking to select a QB. This means that top prospects like Jalen Carter, Will Anderson Jr., and Devon Witherspoon could fall lower than they would in a different year.

Depending on who the Eagles lose in free agency, the team could go a couple of different ways with the tenth pick.

Devon Witherspoon, CB from Illinois, has frequently been mocked to the Eagles. The secondary could be a huge need for the Eagles with James Bradberry, Marcus Epps, and Chauncey Gardner-Johnson all headed for free agency.

The team also could lose several defensive linemen in free agency, so Calijah Kancey or Tyree Wilson could make sense as well.

Either way, an early run on QBs would assuredly benefit the Eagles.
