The listed home of Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon was investigated by Hamilton County police deputies late Monday evening after reports of shots being fired in an Anderson Township neighborhood.

Police remained on the scene late into the night and put up crime scene tape near Mixon's house. Per FOX19's report, deputies entered the residence around 1:30am EST.

The tape has since been removed and no arrests have been made.

It's unclear at this time whether or not Mixon was at home.

Mike Dardis of WLWT spoke with Mixon's sister, Shelonda, who said Mixon was not involved in the incident, which left a juvenile injured and transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Last month, charges of Aggravated Menacing against Mixon were dropped from an unrelated incident that occurred in late January in downtown Cincinnati.

Mixon is entering his seventh year with the Bengals.
