The New Orleans Saints will have plenty of important decisions to make during this off-season. They've already began restructures within the roster in order to create cap space.
The Saints will need to continue making moves to get back to cap compliancy. That being said, they are making a move to bring back a veteran defender already.
Edge rusher Tanoh Kpassagnon is expected to sign a multi-year deal to return to the team.
The move many not be incredibly groundbreaking to fans, but he is a solid role player on the Saints DL.
The need for his return is amplified by the potential losses that New Orleans may sustain during free agency on their defensive line.
Marcus Davenport is a free agent, and the Saints probably won't afford his new contract. They shouldn't bring him back for what his price will be, either.
David Onyemata is also a free agent currently. Although he is an interior player, he's been a key cog for the Saints defensive line for the past few seasons.
Bringing back Kpassagnon is important to prevent a complete loss of depth over the next month.
The Saints will be hard-pressed to sign impact DL players in free agency, so the NFL Draft may be their best route to add talent to that unit.
