The Denver Broncos have been searching for their staff to go along with Sean Payton since they hired him. It's been quiet before this week, too. But now, all hell is breaking loose.
There have been so many reports about who the favorites are to land what job, but the staff is finally starting to come together. The Broncos just have two more spots open.
The offensive coordinator and the running backs coach are still open. Well, so we think. With the latest hire, we don't really know what is left at the moment.
Per Mike Klis, the Broncos are hiring Joe Lombardi to be part of their offensive staff. This will be Lombardi's third assistant coaching stint with Sean Payton. But, there isn't really a definitive title set in place yet.
Honestly, Lombardi could be either, but, I think we can expect him to be the offensive coordinator.
This leaves the running back coach job available now.
