Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is no stranger to going viral.
Usually, though, it's because of a mind-blowing play that Mahomes made during a game.
Every now and then, however, it's because of something off the court.
And that was the case this week.
Mahomes was recently spotted at an NBA game between the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Lakers and he looked less than thrilled to be there.
Here's the photo that's making the rounds on social media this week.
That's quite an assumption to make from one photo.
(There are also a few not-so-nice comments about his wife, Brittany, which aren't even worth giving attention to.)
For starters, there are other photos from Mahomes at the game where he looks to be enjoying himself.
Then there's also the fact that Mahomes is probably exhausted at this point. He's been going non-stop since winning the Super Bowl a couple of weeks ago (that includes quite a few Coors Lights). The guy was just on the biggest stage in sports earlier this month — the Lakers and the Mavericks aren't quite as hype as the Super Bowl. So it's no surprise that he took a moment to kind of "zone out".
It's a shame that Mahomes can't even go to an NBA game without his mood or his personal life getting questioned and critiqued.
But that's often the price of fame. And it's something that Mahomes is going to have to deal with for a long time.
