Giants sign former Super Bowl champ
Giants add a proven winner.
The New York Giants are still busy. Free agency begin today, and they have made a move to grab a former Super Bowl champion defensive lineman.
The Giants have agreed to terms with defensive lineman Raheem Nunez-Roches. He won the Super Bowl in 2021 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Nunez-Roches, also known as, "Nacho" was a rotational DL for Tampa Bay. He was a fan favorite on defense that brought energy and big-play ability when it came to stopping the run.
In five seasons with the Bucs, he totaled 81 tackles and two sacks. His impact went beyond the stat sheet, though.
Nunez-Roches will be important depth for a Giants defensive line that will keep looking for ways to improve.
