The New Orleans Saints are sticking to their M.O. during this off-season. They are restructuring contracts in order to create cap space. They had a big hole to dig out of to begin the off-season, but they are almost to their goal of salary cap relief.

Two stars, Marshon Lattimore and Alvin Kamara, are the latest players to agree to restructure their deals.

This allows the Saints to create some cap space for right now.

Both players are in the long-term plan for New Orleans, clearly. Both guys know the situation that the organization is currently in as well.

They must clear cap space for right now in order to add some talent to the roster. Without these moves, they would be a bare-bones depth chart.

Not to mention, the team just signed free-agent QB Derek Carr to a long-term deal. These players, among others, that the team can compete for a Super Bowl with Carr at quarterback.

Don't be surprised to see more of these moves this week as the Saints make sure they get under the salary cap and allow themselves some room to bring in new talent.
