If the Buffalo Bills are going to win a Super Bowl in the next few years, they'll likely need to get past the Kansas City Chiefs in the postseason.

And that's obviously easier said than done.

After winning their second Super Bowl in the last four seasons, the Chiefs are the standard in the NFL. They're the team to beat until someone dethrones them.

Buffalo has the potential to be the team that leapfrogs Kansas City as the best team in the AFC. But they need to make a few additions to get to that point.

They also need to make sure to keep wide receiver Stefon Diggs happy. Diggs has been sending some cryptic tweets and exhibiting some odd social media behavior lately. While the Bills can't afford to trade him (trading Diggs before June 1 would result in Buffalo losing $17 million in cap space), they still need to keep their star wide receiver happy.

Former Super Bowl champion and three-time Pro Bowler Shaun O'Hara joined NFL Network's "Good Morning Football" on Tuesday morning and he made a suggestion that could help the Bills compete with the Chiefs and also keep Diggs happy.

"I think Adam Thielen to the Buffalo Bills right now would be electric," said O'Hara.

"Give me Adam Thielen with Josh Allen carving up secondaries, carving up defenses — especially down in the red zone. I think this puts the Buffalo Bills as the best team in the AFC. Bring him in right now, I would put them ahead of the Chiefs right now if you added Adam Thielen to this offense."

Diggs and Thielen played together with the Minnesota Vikings for five seasons. The two became extremely close during that time.

Here's the message that Thielen sent Diggs after the 2019 season when Diggs was traded to the Bills.

And here's the message Diggs left for Thielen:

The duo found magic in Minnesota, there's no reason why they couldn't in Buffalo.

Thielen isn't quite what he used to be — he'll turn 33 before the start of the 2023 season — but he's a savvy veteran who would bring important leadership to Buffalo. He could also be a valuable option for quarterback Josh Allen in the offense. Thielen may not take over games anymore, but he can still be the guy that comes up with a key third-down reception to keep a drive alive.

If the Bills can make the finances work, this is a move that feels like a no-brainer.
