The Denver Broncos are one of the most exciting and polarizing teams in the NFL.

With Russell Wilson at quarterback and newly-acquired Sean Payton leading the team, the sky is the limit.

However, with free agency almost underway and the draft upcoming, there are plenty of positions of need for the current roster.

A recent ESPN report has the team adding to an already stacked defensive front. Denver was top-ten defensively last season despite having a lackluster season.

Struggles with continuity from an offensive gameplan perspective took away from yet another stellar performance from the defense.

Additionally, Kansas City being in the division makes things difficult when you know you need to gameplan for Travis Kelce twice a season. That, and the Las Vegas Raiders, regardless of who is the gunslinger, have a talented tight end in Darren Waller.

That's why, in their report, ESPN highlighted a move that would help shut down both superstar tight ends.

C.J. Gardner Johnson to the Broncos would be an addition that would fire up the fanbase immediately. Again, this defense is already well above average and the addition of Johnson could nearly make it a lock for a top-three defense in the NFL.

Johnson's stellar season with the Eagles was one that was well-documented across the NFL. ESPN reports that the addition of Johnson would be paramount in helping with one of the biggest struggles anytime has when facing Kelce or Waller.

The superstar defensive back has an incredible track record and last season was no different by allowing only 8.8 yards per target with the Philadelphia Eagles. Previously, with the Saints, it was an even more incredible 6.2 yards per target.

Crazier things have happened, let's see if the Broncos can capitalize on the talented pool of players that will soon become available.
