Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson reportedly requested a trade on March 2nd. Rumors and discussions have flown around the league over the past couple of months, but there is now confirmation.

For the New Orleans Saints, they won't be making a deal for him. The Atlanta Falcons and Carolina Panthers could both be fits for Jackson, though.

They both need a quarterback, and Jackson fits that bill. He is one of the most physically gifted players in the league, and he is ready for a new start.

A trade to Carolina or Atlanta would be a complete game-changer for the entire NFC South. As of right now, their respective QBs are Desmond Ridder and Andy Dalton.

The Panthers are presumed to take a QB at pick one after trading up for the top selection, though.

Regardless, the addition of Jackson to the division wouldn't be ideal for the Saints.
