The New Orleans Saints have made some depth moves long their defensive line so far. Khalen Saunders and Nathan Shepherd are interior players that will fill different roles in New Orleans.
Plus, they brought back Malcolm Roach as an experienced DL member in their system. Hopefully, Payton Turner can stay healthy and contribute this year, too.
Edge rusher hasn't been addressed too much. Tanoh Kpassagnon and Carl Granderson both seem to be the players to play the most opposite of Cameron Jordan right now.
It sounds like the Saints aren't quite satisfied with their DL depth chart quite yet, though.
Saints head coach Dennis Allen says that the team isn't done adding talent along the defensive line.
That's good news for New Orleans and their fans.
They'll need more impact talent on the DL in order to achieve what they want to this season. The offensive additions have been splashy, so it'll be interesting to see what else they do on defense.
The NFL Draft is certainly a route that could be on the table as well.
There will be significant DL talent on the board at pick 29, or the Saints could move up. that would shock no one. Only time will tell.
