The New Orleans Saints need a healthy season from Michael Thomas. If they can get it, their offense takes an unbelievable step forward with Derek Carr at quarterback. It sounds like Thomas is as healthy as he's ever been in the past three years. Thomas looks good at practice, and his comments about his return are very strong.

MT mentions that he'll be ready for full-speed activities on the first day of training camp. That's an important step forward. He won't be holding back at all, and the offense can work on its chemistry as a whole

Additionally, Thomas even mentioned that out felt a bit more 'like the old days' when it comes to his health before the season. It's no secret that Thomas was one of the most productive receivers in league history when at his physical peak. Getting anywhere near those numbers would be monumental for the Saints this season.

Derek Carr also mentioned that the veteran WR was a big reason that he chose New Orleans. The new QB believes in a major bounce-back from Thomas.
