The New Orleans Saints have known their 2023 opponents for quite awhile. Now, they'll know the order in which they take on their counterparts around the league. The NFL just unveiled the schedule for every team across the league. 

There are plenty of intriguing matchups for every single team. With a new quarterback and high hopes, the Saints are excited to get this year underway on the gridiron.

  • WEEK 1: VS TITANS. Sunday, Sept. 10, Noon.
  • WEEK 2: at Panthers. Monday, Sept. 18, 7:15 p.m.
  • WEEK 3: at Packers. Sunday, Sept. 24, Noon.
  • WEEK 4: VS BUCCANEERS. Sunday, Oct. 1, Noon.
  • WEEK 5: at Patriots. Sunday, Oct. 8, Noon.
  • WEEK 6: at Texans. Sunday, Oct. 15, Noon.
  • WEEK 7: VS JAGUARS. Thursday, Oct. 19, 7:15 p.m.

The Saints got the short end of the stick in one major way this season, though. During the off-season, the NFL implemented a new policy to the regular season schedule. That policy was the ability for teams to have two Thursday Night Football games in one season. 

Of course, TNF games are not preferred when it comes to the teams. Players get less rest. Staffs get less prep time. Injuries become an even larger worry. The Saints were one of the teams not in favor of the change. It didn't matter – as it was still passed.

The Saints, unfortunately, are one of the teams with two games on Thursdays this season. They will face the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday in Week 7 and the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday in Week 16.

Hopefully for New Orleans, they will make the most out of the unfortunate outcome from their schedule.
