The New York Giants now know the entirety of their 2023 NFL schedule, something we officially covered earlier today.

So before they make their travel accommodations, and plan their bye week getaway, they will poke and prod the opponents they are set to face making careful calculations as far as 4-6 months in advance.

We're going to do something fairly similar today, analyzing the biggest and best games of the 2023 season, foreshadowing our favorite matchups, most anticipated opponents, and contests that could make or break the Giants' season. So let's stop all the chatter and dive in.

Most Exciting Game: Week 16: @ Philadelphia Eagles (Sunday, Dec. 25th, 4:30 P.M est)

I mean does it get any more exciting than a divisional-round rematch with your bitter rival on Christmas day? The NFL knew they were sure to turn heads with this one, even announcing it earlier in the week as a stand-alone affair.

The game will also likely be very important in the outcome of the season, given it's the first of two divisional games, with the Eagles and Giants playing each other again to close out the season in week 18.

Biggest Trap Game: Week 17: Vs Los Angeles Rams (Sunday, Dec. 31st, 1:00 P.M est)

In between those aforementioned divisional contests will be a 1:00 P.M. kickoff against what's likely to be a lowly Rams squad late in the year. LA went all in on a Super Bowl and succeeded, but their process was never labeled as sustainable.

Now they have few if any blue chip players outside of Aaron Donald, and while one of the brightest minds in the league is still their coach by way of Sean McVay, he may have one foot out of the door by the time this game rolls around.

So you can see how it may be hard for the Giants to get up for this one, but I can assure you, between the parody that engulfs the league every year, and the competitiveness within the division, every game will count for this Giants squad in 2023.

Game with the Highest Stakes: Week 14: Vs Green Bay Packers (Mon, Dec. 11th, 8:15 P.M est)

You may be wondering why this game is potentially the most important on the schedule, but the answer is simple. The Giants' bye week comes in week 13, serving as a reprieve for what will have been a daunting season to that point.

But that makes their return to action, against a largely unpredictable Packers team following the departure of Aaron Rodgers, and on a national stage like Monday Night Football a must-win contest.
