The New Orleans Saints officially have their 2023 schedule. Accordingly, fans will be analyzing it for weeks and weeks as the season approaches. A reunion could be the most intriguing game on the schedule for the Saints and their fans this year.

The Saints will face off with the Detroit Lions on Sunday, December 3rd. The game will be played in New Orleans. For the Lions, former Saints assistant Dan Campbell will return to New Orleans. This time, it's as the head coach for the Lions, and he will certainly be rooting against the black and gold.

The game against the Lions will be one for fans to circle for one other reason as well.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams will be back from his suspension by the time Detroit faces the Saints. He and Saints DB Alontae Taylor have a bit of history from college.

Williams is a former first-round pick by Detroit. The Saints spent a round two selection on Taylor. During their NCAA playing days in the SEC, Taylor got the best of the former star at Alabama.

In their game against each other, Taylor lined up against Jameson Williams for three targets. Williams caught just one of those three for six yards. When other players guarded Williams in that game, he caught five passes for over 100 yards. Taylor performed really well against him, and there was plenty of energy.

Just another storyline for Saints fans to keep their eye on this season.
