There are going to be a lot of eyes on the Detroit Lions in 2023. One way or another, a lot of fans across the league are going to get their eyes on a lot of new, young, underrated players, and Aidan Hutchinson tops the list of those that will be the most exciting to watch.

Defensively-speaking, Hutchinson is the most important player on that side of the ball, and his ability to build off a great rookie season and then move into the limelight as a superstar will have a huge impact on what this Lions team can do next year.

Hutchinson did just about everything a team could want from a young player that they selected with the second-overall pick. The stat lines were impressive, the rookie did everything you wanted to see from a young leader, and the tape points to another rookie pass rusher that will follow in the footsteps of the other guys that took the next steps after year one.

Just look at the last few years and the current stars at the position: Myles Garrett, the Bosa Brothers, and almost all of the other pass rushers that were selected early over the past few years. Guys that have a rookie season like Hutchinson tend to go on to become the best pass rushers in the league if they can avoid injuries (and even that doesn't usually stop them).

If Hutchinson can stay healthy during training camp, which he absolutely should, it is entirely within the realm of possibility to say that he could land somewhere in the range of 15.0 sacks on the year in 2023, and that would be very beneficial for a Lions team that has already gotten better across the board.

Detroit is in very good hands with their top first-round pick from 2022. This team is as much Hutchinson's as it is Jared Goff's, and that means something in an NFL that loves quarterbacks.

Keep your eyes peeled for something very special from Aidan Hutchinson in 2023. It is likely coming.
