The Seattle Seahawks have a young guy who can easily have a breakout season in 2023, and not many people know who he is.

The Seahawks' offensive line has a history or a bad track record, I should say, of being awful. At least it was toward the back half of Russell Wilson's time in Seattle. Now, it's much better, and it can get even better than this if things go the way we think they will.

Seattle has a guy on their team that they have a lot of faith in. He isn't a guy the casual fan even knows. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if some Seahawks fans don't know him. Part of it has been the fact that he is an offensive lineman, and the other part is that he is just an underrated player.

Offensive lineman Abraham Lucas is that guy. I think he is a huge part of the future of this offensive line. In fact, one NFL analyst thinks the Seahawks have a guy who can have a breakout season in 2023, and maybe even be a Pro Bowler in the future.

The Seahawks arguably had the best draft class last year, and it was headlined by left tackle Charles Cross, running back Kenneth Walker, and Defensive Rookie of the Year cornerback Tariq Woolen. However, right tackle Abraham Lucas definitely deserves to be included among those big names. Lucas started in all 16 games he played last season and allowed nine sacks in 975 offensive snaps played, per PFF. He earned a 68.5 PFF grade. While he allowed more sacks per snap than Cross, the left tackle had a lower PFF grade (63.7) and allowed 20 more pressures than Lucas, per SI.com. Lucas could develop into a Pro Bowler. I expect him to have a cleaner, more consistent 2023 campaign. –Jordan Dajani, CBS Sports

The offensive line is steadily getting better, and Luca I a big reason why. He wasn't other-worldly last season, but he was okay. Some of the things he showed on the field would suggest he has all of the tools to be really good. But now it is just about putting everything together.

Being a Pro Bowler may be easier than being an All-Pro, but it isn't easy by any means. The Seahawks have a guy with the potential, and it has to feel great seeing how far the team has come in that department.
