The New Orleans Saints are always active in undrafted free agency when the NFL draft concludes. This year was no different. One of their moves was signing Miami punter Lou Hedley.

Hedley is australian, looms at 6'4, and used to be a scaffolder. He was a pretty impressive punter during college as well.

Hedley played semi-pro Australian football before learning the American game, too. The list of intriguing facts about the punter goes on and on.

The former Hurricanes boot used to own an Indonesian tattoo parlor as well. Hedley has tons of tattoos, and some of his tattoos are tributes to family members. In 2016, he and a friend purchased Rosemarrie Tattoo in Bali, which made it easier to get inked and learn more about the process. Hedley sold his stake in the tattoo shop to pay for his move to the USA.

One final factoid relates to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. He wore number 94 at Miami to match Johnson from his collegiate days. He and Johnson are friends, and Dwayne supports him big-time.

Hedley will compete with Blake Gillikin for the punter job with the Saints.
