The Philadelphia Eagles might have one of the best wide receiver duos in the NFL, but their depth beyond A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith is a bit of a question mark.

There are a couple of guys that are streaky and could contribute in a pinch as needed, but banking on that to happen without allowing for a competition first would be a silly mistake.

The best teams find ways to keep a constant competition in place before they ever announce the final roster. Fortunately for the Eagles, they are one of the best teams in the league, so you can rest assured they will look under every stone to find contributors to help get the team back to the Super Bowl.

The Eagles are currently doing their best to stockpile as much receiver talent through free agency to compete for the last few roles as they can.

Rather than spending valuable draft picks on a position where they already have a top-heavy starting duo, Philly has gone about this by signing cheap free agents and bringing in others for tryouts. XFL receiver Charleston Rambo is one such player.

Rambo didn't exactly ball out on an Orlando team that struggled more often than not, but he was able to put a consistent product on the field when he was able to play towards the end of his season.

Seven catches for two touchdowns and 158 yards over Rambo's final two games are probably worth looking at for a team like the Eagles, and it seems like there is a chance that this young player could use his experience in the XFL and a stint on the Panthers practice squad to earn a similar role on an Eagles team that needs the help.
