We're four months away from football, right? WRONG. We're just thee months away if you count the preseason.
The Cincinnati Bengals' preseason schedule has been finalized, as kickoff times for their three exhibition games were revealed Wednesday afternoon.
Cincinnati will play a slate of three games, all NFC teams, with just one at home and two on the road. Clubs will always play more road preseason games if they have nine home regular season games under the 17-game schedule.
Here is the Bengals' full preseason schedule
- Friday, August 11 vs. Green Bay Packers @ 7:00 pm ET
- Friday, August 18 at Atlanta Falcons @ 7:30 pm ET
- Saturday, August 26 at Washington Commanders @ 1:00 pm ET
The Packers and Falcons have most recently faced the Bengals in the regular season in 2021 and 2022, respectively. This will be the first time Green Bay takes the field without having Aaron Rodgers on their roster since 2004. Atlanta is entering year two of former University of Cincinnati QB Desmond Ridder's career.
Washington last played Cincinnati during the 2021 preseason, which also took place in Landover, MD. Ja'Marr Chase infamously dealt with drops that night in just his second-ever appearance on an NFL football field. Needless to say, he got that aspect of the game figured out quickly.
While two of these kickoff times are at night, none of the games are scheduled to be broadcasted for a national audience. Local TV channels will carry the games on the Bengals Preseason TV Network.
