The story of Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints is a beautiful one. From lifting their first Lombardi trophy to smashing NFL records, it's hard to see any other player ever having quite the career in New Orleans that Brees did. One of his statistical breakers stands out because of the emotion of it all. 

In 2018, Brees broke the NFL's all-time passing yards record against the Washington Redskins. In a 43-19 victory, Brees completed a touchdown pass to seal the deal on the record, and the emotion that ensured following that was priceless for fans of the Saints. 

You know the accomplishment is major when a game is basically put on pause once it happens. That's exactly what happened during that game, though, as Brees was awarded and celebrated. He was even joined by his family on the field after celebrating with his teammates.
