As tough as the outlook may seem for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2023, there are certainly a few smaller stories that are worth remaining optimistic about.

One of the players that is starting to develop some serious attention from the fanbase is undrafted free agent running back Sean Tucker.

Tucker was an awesome college back during his time at Syracuse and will look to carve out a real role for himself in a weak Buccaneers backfield during his rookie season.

The good news for Tucker is that it shouldn't be hard to earn a spot. The room isn't all that strong, and it is also on the table that Tucker can quickly earn himself a spot in franchise history.

Tucker will wear #44 with the Buccaneers. There is a legitimate chance that he will be the best to wear the jersey if he meets expectations in Tampa.

The Buccaneers don't exactly have the deepest history of players at the position. This means that it will only take a short, high-level run to meet this standard.

Between the obvious need at the position and Tucker's college tape, earning the title of best #44 in franchise history is very much on the table.

It would be awesome to see him reach that mark in just one season, a move that is also a possibility for a team that needs help at the position.

The future is bright for Sean Tucker in Tampa.
