The Minnesota Vikings can officially turn the page at the wide receiver position.

The Vikings locked up first-round pick Jordan Addison by signing him to his rookie deal on Wednesday. Minnesota is ahead of the curve as Addison becomes the 13th first rounder out of 31 to officially sign with his team.

Addison’s contract is projected to be a four-year deal worth $13,731,737 with a signing bonus of $6,986,718, according to Spotrac. However, the official numbers have yet to be released as of Wednesday afternoon.

Addison caught the college football world by storm at Pittsburgh in the 2021 season. He totaled 1,593 receiving yards and a whopping 17 touchdowns on 100 receptions. Addison transferred to USC ahead of the 2022 season where his production dipped a bit, though he still recorded 875 receiving yards and eight touchdowns on 59 catches.

General manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah has signed five of the team’s six selections in the Vikings’ 2023 draft class. Only seventh-round running back DeWayne McBride is without a rookie deal as it currently stands.
