Friendships are unimportant part of the NFL. New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr has plenty of friends around the league, and the Saints have already added one in Foster Moreau. The tight end adds plenty of depth to the position. At wide receiver, the team could use another proven veteran presence. Hunter Renfrow would fill that role, and the Saints have been in plenty of rumors about the Raiders wideout.
Carr took that to another level this past week with a social media interaction with Renfrow. Carr and many players from the Saints went on a team fishing trip. Renfrow commented on the post from Carr, and the Saints QB said that Renfrow needs to go with them sometime.
It's a situation to watch for fans. There's been mostly radio silence from the team regarding Renfrow, but they would never show their hand. He has a strong connection with Carr, and the two have been ultra-productive in the past in a similar style of offense to the current Saints one.
