4 Lions that could get involved at SummerSlam

As I've mentioned a million times before, we're in the dead zone. After the Detroit Lions helmet release on Wednesday, there just isn't much happening until training camp starts up at the end of July. That's not the only thing that's happening in Detroit around that time. WWE will be Ford Field the first weekend of August to put on their second biggest show of the year, SummerSlam.
We've seen football players get involved in the wrestling world many times in recent years. 49ers tight end George Kittle just clotheslined The Miz at WrestleMania in August. Rob Gronkowski got involved not long ago too. Giants legend Lawrence Taylor main evented WrestleMania 11. Lions linebacker Chris Spielman was in his corner for that match.
Wrestling and football just go hand and hand with each other. With one of WWE's biggest shows being inside the Lions stadium while the Lions are a team on the rise, it feels like perfect situation to see someone from the Lions get involved. Let me just say before we jump in that there's no way anyone is participating in full blown match. A stare down or clothesline is full go though. Let's take a look at some names.
Aidan Hutchinson
Aidan Hutchinson seems like a wild man. He would be the perfect for this. A lot of times these situations seem to use the biggest guys on the team or players that are responsible for sacks.
Imagine someone like the Miz, all these scenarios will probably feature the Miz, coming out to the ring to talk about Detroit sports when he notices that Hutchinson is in the crowd.
He smack talks Hutchinson directly and he jumps the barricade to confront him before hit him with a big clothesline. Maybe he can skip the clothesline and pull off this move?
C.J. Gardner-Johnson
Talking smack is a big part of the game in WWE and Gardner-Johnson might be one of the best smack talkers around. Gardner-Johnson going out there to cut a promo before taking out The Miz could prove to be a very entertaining.
Jack Fox
The WWE has a good relationship with former Colts punter turned media guy Pat McAfee. He's even wrestled a few matches and they were actually pretty good.
McAfee hasn't been a full time commentator for the WWE in a while, but he did make a short return at the Royal Rumble, so maybe he'll come back for another one of the big four premium live events. It would only make sense if McAfee welcomed another punter into the ring. What punter would fit better than the punt god himself?
Dan Campbell
Does it have to be a player? Dan Campbell is the biggest personality of this entire franchise and he's built like a brick house. The guy is opposing for sure. If Campbell never got into the coaching world, he probably could have been a WWE superstar by now for sure.
Imagine a world where Campbell gets his insane coffee order from Starbucks and then runs into the ring and literally bites off The Miz' kneecap! Ford Field's structure would not be able to sustain the pop of the crowd if Campbell were to get into the ring.
