The Seattle Seahawks made some roster moves Monday in the form of waiving five players.

Running back and former sixth-round draft pick Darwin Thompson, cornerback Chris Steele, wide receivers Connor Wedington and Easop Winston, and defensive lineman Jarrod Hewitt were the players that received the bad news.

None of the aforementioned players recorded a snap for the Seahawks in 2022.

The Seahawks won't receive any cap relief from the moves. All five players were below the top-51 salary cap cutoff, therefore, they didn't count against the cap, to begin with.

The Seahawks roster currently stands at 51 players, per Spotrac.
